Hospitality given by hotel staff was awesome and it is one the world class. We highly recommend staying there for complete value for money. Riad Lorsya

Breakfast is wonderful. You can get any type of food around the clock. A fantastic honey in a fantastic hotel after a stressful year. Islane Hotel

I especially love the library because they have hard to find and rare art books, and some in English. The museum takes a good couple of hours if you want to see everything, so plan ahead. Popular for short breaks, Marrakesh is an exotic destination and only a short flight from the UK. The city is nearly a thousand years old and is distinguished by its earth-coloured buildings and endless souks (markets) all set against the backdrop of the snow-topped Atlas mountains. When to go What to do The Saadian Tombs make a great excursion as do the many parks on the outskirts of Marrakech. The souks themselves are a real treat and wandering through the narrow alleys you'll find all manner of leather goods, carpets, lamps, furniture, pottery and more. If you're buying bulky items some traders can arrange to have them shipped back for you otherwise you'll need to pack light!
You can find bargains on Marrakesh hotels throughout the year. The winter months from November to January are probably the best time to hunt for cheap Marrakech hotels, but it can get pretty cold! The summer months from June to August are extremely hot as the city sits on a plain, but the extreme heat means that you're also likely to find cheap Marrakesh hotels. The best weather is in spring and autumn, but it's a bit harder to find hotel bargains.This is also the case for flights, but if you use our flight search we should be able to find you cheap flights to Marrakesh no matter what time of year you want to go.
Once you've got your hands on a cheap hotel in Marrakesh there are some great attractions to visit. Djemaa El Fna is top of the list and this huge square really comes to life at night when it fills up with food stalls, belly dancers and acrobats. The square is surrounded by restaurants some of which have balconies where you can watch the show unfold.
Where to stay
The Sultana Hotel Marrakesh is a luxury boutique hotel whilst the Riad Dar Najat hotel is well located and gets good reviews.
